Explanations
Five Elements of a Family (promotion):
Mother takes care of the Eldest Son. If the Eldest Son have any questions,
he will ask the Father. The Father will ask the Elderly
(or his own Father because he has more experience)
if he has any questions. The Elderly takes care and be with Children.
The Children need to be with their Mothers.
Five Elements of a Family (restraint):
Mother restraint Father. Father restraint Children.
Children restraint Eldest Son. Eldest Son restraint the Elderly. Elderly restraint Mother.
Five Elements Cycle (promotion):
Water promotes Wood (i.e. water is needed to nourish plants and trees).
Wood promotes Fire (i.e. wood is needed to start a fire).
Fire promotes Earth (i.e. the dust remains and ashes from fire becomes part of the earth).
Earth promotes Metal (i.e. the earth forms elements and metals like copper, iron, coal, gold, silver, diamond, jade, etc.).
Metal promotes Water (i.e. metals can produce moisture).
Five Elements Cycle (restraint):
Water restraint Fire (i.e. water extinguishes fire; if there's oil in the fire, then that's a different story, chemicals have to be used).
Fire restraint Metal (i.e. fire can melt metals).
Metal restraint Wood (i.e. metals like an axe or saw can chop down trees).
Wood restraint Earth (i.e. roots of trees can hold and grab the soil).
Earth restraint Water (i.e. sandbags are used to control floods).
